Some processing commands, such as Digital Development or Curves can reduce the color saturation of an image. This can be compensated for using the Adjust Saturation command.
It is also possible to exaggerate color to make it more visible. This can be quite interesting for images of the Earth's Moon, which has only very subtle colors.
Note however that it is quite easy to overdo this and create an artificial-looking image. It is best to use a light touch when enhancing color.
