Plate.CatalogMaximumMagnitude (read-write, Double)

[advanced] The maximum (fainter) magnitude for selection of stars from the reference catalog (default = 20.0)

Plate.CatalogMaximumMagnitude [= Double]

The property syntax has these parts:

Remarks

This is an advanced property. In most cases, you will not need to change this value, the default will work.

If you want to restrict the set of catalog stars used for matching to a range of magnitudes, you can do this by changing CatalogMaximumMagnitude and CatalogMinimumMagnitude. This may be useful when you are operating with a very wide field, or in very star-rich areas, to limit the number of catalog stars in the area to a few hundred or less.

Legal values range from 2.0 through 20.0.
