ASCOM provides simulators for every standard equipment type, including telescopes, focusers, cameras, and domes. The simulators can be used while learning the software, as an aid in diagnosing problems (e.g. eliminate one piece of equipment from the system to see if it is causing problems), and for testing scripts and programs.
