Scripting

A script is a text file of instructions that can be used to execute a sequence of steps in the program.  In MaxIm DL scripting is provided via a COM/ActiveX interface, which is a standard interface in Windows.  In addition to providing for running scripts written in JScript or VBScript, or even Excel macros, this scripting interface can be used by other programs to control MaxIm DL.

MaxIm DL also includes a Batch Processing feature, which allows you to set up a sequence of commands visually.  This is distinct from the scripting interface.  For more details on the scripting interface, please see Scripting.
