Two eyepieces are considered parfocalized when their focal plane is in the same position relative to their mounting tubes. This means that the focus does not change when the eyepieces are swapped. It is also possible to parfocalize a camera to an eyepiece, so that the eyepiece can be used as a focusing aid.
