The Status Bar command toggles the display of the status bar on and off. The status bar displays transient information on the current operation, the size of the currently selected image, the zoom factor, the coordinates of the mouse on the image, the intensity of the pixel under the cursor, and for color images, the red, green, and blue intensities of the pixel under the cursor.
